Willem Prinsloo Events

The Willem Prinsloo Agricultural Museum preserves and presents South African agricultural history in a unique manner. This agricultural gem is situated just 20km from Pretoria and is part of the Rayton Meander area.

The Museum showcases the history of the development of agriculture in South Africa from the Stone Age until 1945. It has a large collection of farming implements, tractors and animal-drawn vehicles. The historic farmyard (1880-1920) boasts with indigenous domesticated farm animals like Nguni cattle, Colebrook pigs, Painted Persian sheep and indigenous chickens. Homemade jams, cookies, soap and Ndebele beadwork can be purchased at the Museum farm stall.

A variety of facilities are available to assist you in your desired event. The Lapa Kraal accommodation is ideal for big groups and can accommodate up to 98 people. The Gerhard Schoeman Hall, Auditorium and restaurant is also available for functions. If you want a farm atmosphere for your wedding, this is the venue for you!

The farm hosts several events and activities like annual Equestrian events which includes pleasure trail rides, Military gymkhana and games days. The vast expanse of the venue makes it ideal for Endurance riding, polo-cross etc.
